Lane

Poor Lane never gets his picture taken because he really dislikes it. But I got this action shot of him and I just love his smile! Outside being a boy is what makes him the happiest!

Oh for the love of kids...

Rylin has the best fashion sense don't ya think?

One weekend while Justin's kids were here they all lined up outside and Adrienne sat on the deck and read them a story. How sweet is that.

Her and her perfect little story goers.

Math Star Award!

Lane was awarded the Math Star award at school today. It was a cute little ceremony.
I should add he wanted to wear Christmas socks that went half way up his legs that had little santa head that was suppose to go at the back of your ankle front and center in the middle of his shins. As funny as it was I made him change but would have made for great pictures today! : )

The wall art that he made for today : ) I'm so proud of my little math star!

Fishing fun!

Sunday after I got off work we packed a quick picnic and headed to the lake for some fishing. Rylin was the first to catch a fish within minutes of throwing her line in!
Lane was such a good sport and kept telling her what a good fisher she was <3
I love how much they love and support each other and hope they are always this close!
 That is one proud fisher!!
Yet again still getting used to this blog I uploaded the old way so my post is backwards but here is Rylin before her fish, patiently waiting the whole 3 minutes!

And my handsome Lane, girl pole and all. : )
Once again Adrienne chose to be at Grandma and Grandpas instead : ( In her defense she hasn't stayed there in months and really missed it!

It was lots of fun, the kids tired of fishing quickly and went off to play with the toys we brought. Joe and I relaxed and fished and ended up with around 10 fish that we had for dinner the following night. : )

A day at the park

This past weekend we had my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary at a local park. We got there a little early and walked the trails and played on the equipment. We were at the park for 6 1/2 hours! The kids had a blast and were asleep in no time!  Addie was there too but rode with Grandma and Grandpa so missed the hike. : (

Just a cute shot I got the other night when Miss. Rylin fell sleep in the toy room bed all on her own!

Happy 12th Birthday Adrienne!!

I am still getting used to how this new and improved blogger works. Used to be the last photo you upload is at the top of the blog and now that is not the case. I don't have time to fix it so enjoy a walk through the party backwards. : )
Adrienne enjoying her new to her Nikon camera.

Singing the Happy Birthday song before devouring homemade ice cream cake. It is SOOO good! Also by the time you light 12 candles they are totally melting. Think I may have to go with the number candles from here on out! ": )

She is posing wearing the new robe her friend gave her.

Rylin enjoying a movie with a party goer. She had a blast and I think felt she was a  important part of the partying. : )

Sam in seventh heaven.

Adrienne requested Caseys pizza for dinner. It was a hit of course. I got 4 large pizzas and 4 packs of bread sticks and feared we would run out of food. These girls can eat!

Gifts, the funnest part of the party in my opinion! This the the new camera case. Her camera was in it. It was the last gift from us she opened.

Earrings of course!

Purse and wallet. Her first "big kid" purse and she thinks Aunt Amanda would love it  since it is pink!

I love this picture of my girls!

The picture Rylin drew in Adrienne's card from us. I LOVE her little people she draws.

A dream catcher one of her friends made her.

Sam with the Birthday girl. We found out he loves playing with marshmallows  after throwing a couple around he  tasted one and then he ate a few before I put an end to that. He was ready for more!

This picture sums up the fun of the party. I was a little crazy at times but so much fun. We had a good group of girls with one more coming at 11pm. Yes you read that right. Not sure what went on there but she got to enjoy the big breakfast we cooked the next morning at least.

The decorations. I had it all ready when the girls came in from the bus.  While we watched movies in the dark we had the lanterns glowing.

Each girl got a pink cup to keep and of  a lei.

Adrienne had a blast. I can not believe she is 12. Where does the time go?! She is super excited to almost be a teenager (I am not!) Ha. All I know is I am one blessed mama!
