Kitty Love

The kitties are a huge hit with the kids when we go out to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

Poor kitty. I did save it and showed Rylin (once again) how to properly hold a kitten.
You would think the kitten would be like child get away! But no strangely it seemed to enjoy the attention.
Although there are a smart few out of the bunch that realized Rylin love can be a dangerous thing and hid.
I even caught Joe loving on a kitty!
Sam likes then too but they do not share the feeling.
So pretty!

I'd say Rylin is smitten with them. She loves her some babies!
And when she finally put the poor kitten down it laid at her feet.


Addie begged me on many occasions to bring a kitty home....the answer was NO! : )
Time to feed them. Rylin is so stinking cute!
The kids are I really miss the sweet babies and I really hope we get another litter before summer is over!

Truck show

So we went to a truck show in Hubbard a couple weekends ago and discovered how easily amused we are. Here are Joe, Lane and Rylin's reflections in the gas tank of one of the trucks. We stood there like dorks laughing at ourselves for a embarrassing amount of time!

Lane loves going to the shop with Dad so he can pretend to drive the old vehicles. This is a old truck they are redoing and he sits for hours and "drives" it. Good thing the steering wheel isn't attached to anything because he sits there and turns it round and round. : )

Pool time!

The water was really chilly that day!
But they got used to it and had lots of fun!
We went on our Thursday play date day with our friends Jane and Kyla. You can't beat water on a hot hot day!

Addie heads to camp

Every year Adrienne goes to camp with her Junior Auxiliary group. This year they went to Dayton Oaks again.

Adrienne had lots of fun although it was super hot that week. She got to ride to Des Moines on a charter bus and go to the science center and the I-max theater, did lots of crafts and did a stellar job in the talent show! She wore the outfit Aunt Emily made for the talent show as well!

Play group picnic

Now my berry is ripe (and long eaten since this is from a couple weeks ago.)
Everyone from play group and Bible study got together for a picnic and time at the park. It was lots of fun!!

We had a good turn out beings it was spitting rain at the beginning of the gathering. We plan on doing this about once a month through out the summer.

Puppy love

So when we go outside Sam going between the kids following them around to babysit his kids. He gets tired after awhile and comes and lays by me. But it is cute all the same.
It is a busy job being a dog!
