My big girl : )

Rylin has been all about being a big girl. So the other day while the kids were in school she wanted chocolate milk and the milk jug was almost empty. I was feeling nice (or crazy however you look at it) and decided to teach her how to do it on her own.(With supervision only!) She was SO excited!
She was so careful I just sat there taking photos and smiling. Watching her proudly making her own drink. <3 p="p">

She did a great job not getting too much syrup in there (she honestly didn't even put enough in in my opinion). : )

Such a proud girl! Now she loves it when we are almost out of milk and always asks to pour her own drink!

Love her!

Happy Halloween!!

Lane went on a field trip and brought back this cute little pumpkin. The night of Halloween he wanted to color it. : )

Adrienne hard at work, she didn't find the carving process nearly as fun this year. More like work : (
Rylin really got into the mess of scooping the insides out!
Taking a break to smile for mom : )
Lane is a little more clean than the girls, if you can't tell by the grossed out face. : )
I won't have many more years of chubby hands working away carving a pumpkin. : (
 The brood, having fun!

All dressed up ready to go! Sam insisted on being included in the photo we well : )

Rylin was a butterfly and I took jewels and used surgical glue to attach them to her face.
 Lane was Iron Man.
A group shot before the night began. They had lots of fun and we shared the candy between them all since Adrienne passed candy out at home with Joe this year.

Doggie photo shoot .....fail!!

So I thought it would be fun to do a doggie photo shoot while Maggie was still around. It is awesome how they all get along and a hoot to have them all running around. They sleep well at the end of the day that is for sure!
We never did get a shot but I will share what we went though. In the end we did have lots of laughs!!  Enjoy!

Our weekend in pictures....

I thought I would share some of the pictures taken this weekend when everyone but my brother Andy was home. It is a wild house of fun and never a dull moment! Here is Amanda's dog Macie. (photo taken by Joe Hausner)
A good picture of Joe's girlfriend Angie also taken by Joe H. (don't kill me Angie : ))
My precious niece Claire, also taken by Joe H.
Lane and Claire playing so sweetly together. I love the look of concern on her face in the bottom photo as he shoves a doll into the barbie car.

Joe got a deer this weekend and the kids got to watch him clean it. They all thought it was pretty cool!
Although Rylins face says it all in this photo!
Rylin has Ben's girlfriend Kylie wrapped around her little finger. Here they are making mini cupcakes.

Probably my all time favorite photo this weekend. I love your smile dad! She loves her Grandpa and has him wrapped around her finger as well!
Adrienne and Hannah taming a kitty. After a lengthy begging session the cat stayed at my parents house....
Hannah spent the night at our house and I checked on them before turning in myself and found this sweet shot.

It was an awesome weekend as usual although it would have been even better if Andy had been able to come. Christmas is right around the corner and I can not wait to see him! Love you Andy!

FIrst dance!

Not quite what I pictured her looking like for her first dance.....: )
School had a Halloween dance and Adrienne was a nerd. She had fun making up her outfit and since she can't trick or treat this year because she is just getting too old for it I didn't want to spend a lot. We did this with only the cost of the glasses....which ended up being more than each of the other kids costumes. Funny how that turns out huh. But she can dress up again to hand out candy. She had a blast at the dance and even danced!!!

Making dough

So I normally don't grab my camera for the mundane moments in life but since kids are in school and the rest of the evening is filled with homework, dinner, baths, playing outside, church activities, Bible studies ect pictures are becoming rare. So while we were making pizza dough for dinner I grabbed the camera and took a few shots.
The kids love helping to make anything. And I love the help with bread products because I can say how many scoops and they will just to that much till I check and tell them how much more to add. I add everything but the flour and they do the rest.  You can't mess dough up too bad and I like the help!
They will be pros in no time!

LOVE

I know this is blurry, it was taken in a rush on my phone, the next second Lane has moved to get out of the camera shot. But they had cut and made this book and then Rylin laid next to him while he read it to her. I love how sweet these two are with each other!
