The kids all got in on helping with the process of putting up apples for the winter. It was fun to have helpers (who could actually be of a help!) in the kitchen with me! Makes me excited to think of all the fun we will get to have as a family as the two little ones get older! Here is Lane showing me that is is indeed strong enough to crank the apple peeler.

The took turns with help from mom and big sister and peeled and cored a good amount of apples while I bagged and sealed them with the food saver.
They decided the fun was over long before the 3 5 gallon buckets were empty but it was fun all together while it lasted.
